I sat down alongside the grill. I was waiting for the coal to ignite. Barbecue day.
It’s good that we got the jackets so warm. It helps a lot as it drizzles gradually more and more at the end of autumn. As much as you hate this weather, it still has one indivisible virtue - Sea. This is the time already when the rustling of the sea is so loud that those 100 meters beyond the dune no longer matter. The noise even finds our outdoor kitchenette to please one’s ears. I then slip into my hood and let the sea drops caress my face.
Microscopic droplets, like small blades, starve the skin, and you feel so alive.
I started on such a cold note for some purpose. I meant to share Frida Kahlo’s dinner moments and show how wonderful it is to spark some colours, and joy and reveal the beauty of dining in fantasy.
The rain didn’t stop us from hitting the piñatas in the forest and laughing our heads off.
After all, there is no bad weather. Especially when having a great party.
Greetings from our Casa Azul!
